Off-road cycling, social and associated activities in Dorset, Hampshire and further afield. Also participating in 3rd party cycle events.
Join SPOKES for exhilarating mountain and gravel biking rides and expeditions through scenic trails and breathtaking landscapes. More experienced riders might like to join us on challenging time trials, open events and at technically graded MTB centres. This outdoor adventure is perfect for cycling enthusiasts and nature lovers alike. This will be a relaxed and sociable paced off road bike ride
Drinks or food if wanted also at the High Corner Inn
Meet 10.15am for 10.30am set off
Mountain bike (or hybrid) needed - Mostly bike tracks / some minor roads.
SAFETY – PLEASE READ!!!
· You MUST have these details in your bag in case of any issues - typed up: full name, address, date of birth, NHS no. ideally, any allergies, any medical issues, emergency contact names / numbers ( 2 please) If you have details in your phone also then all the better.
· You MUST have your mobile phone with you, charged, with back up charger and with leaders number stored in it for your safety ( 07931 350642)
· You MUST wear a helmet and bring spare inner tube / puncture repair kits.
· We will use the “Buddy” system instead of backmarking – each person will choose a “buddy” and at every turn / stop / junction etc check their buddy is still with group – means no one has to get stuck at the back too much! (NB Buddy method does not mean you have to stick with same person for whole ride!)
· Please know your own abilities and fitness levels – you ride at your own risk.
If I do have to cancel due to weather / illness etc I will note this on here - please therefore do check website before you set off for the ride. I use the Met Office weather forecast FYI

- Holmsley Walk - Nice and easy blue 12 milesHolmsley Car Park START: Grid reference 211993. Forestry Commission car park at entrance to Holmsley Camping and Caravanning Par, Holmsley
Meet in the car park at Holmsley Walk. This is the one by the campsite. Please be ready to leave by 10am.
Join me for a relaxed, sociable paced and possibly muddy ride. Mountain bike is best for this ride. Mainly track and off road.
NO HELMET NO RIDE
Please complete your medical app on your phone and ideally have ICON details easily available.
Please bring spare inner tubes/puncture repair kit etc.
My mobile number is 07801 192568 for any problems before or during the ride. Please save it in your phone in case you need it.
If I have to cancel due to bad weather or illness I will note this on the website so please check before you set off for the ride.

This will be a relaxed and sociable paced off road bike ride from West St Car Park in Corfe up and down a few big hills to Kimmeridge bay views and back
Bring picnic / drinks for half way stop
Drinks at a nearby pub afterwards if wanted also
