Come for an early Halloween camping trip. I’m in site 44: it’s $12 per night (more for the electric hookup sites), plus a booking fee. I have a small tent, so can likely fit another tent or 2 at my site, you would just need to pay the $10 parking fee. Friends, family, and friendly dogs welcome to come. I’m happy to stay the night of 10/26 too, for those interested. Or come out only for the day to hike and/or have a meal. So far, the weather appears to be decent, although cool overnight. Sites 41 & 42 are covered sites that are non-reservable/walk-ins, which I will try to upgrade to once there, especially depending on the weather.

I will bring Halloween candy and apple cider (which I will attempt to warm over a fire) to share. Will be doing hiking during the day (I’m wanting to do part of the Downey Creek trail and Suiattle River trail, if the weather cooperates, but am open to doing any hike or walk).

I’ve been wanting to try the Rockport Bar & Grill and Glacier Peak Winery in Rockport, the Upriver Grill & Taproom in Marblemount, and Annie’s Pizza Station in Concrete, if anyone is interested in eating out.

Here's our next gathering supporting local breweries and having social and educational fun. The idea is to meet at a local brewery and get a flight of their beers. We then go thru a brief description of each of the styles, taste them, and share our thoughts on them.

This month we go to Chuckanut Brewery. They seem to have a good variety of European styles.
