Do you ever feel like meetups are great but you would like to get to know people better?
This group is about creating a small, cohesive group of walker/hikers for exercise and friendship. Initially the walks will be at the Stanford Dish, Wednesday mornings at 9:30AM. The group will be limited in size so as to create community. It is said that a stranger is just a friend you haven't met yet, and that it takes meeting at least twice a month to forge connections. So with that in mind, you should be able to attend at least that often. After the hike, those interested can get coffee or a bite to eat. Eventually, the goal is to do other places and times. You should be able to do this approximately 4 mile hike with about 500 feet of elevation at an 18-20 minute/mile pace. Vaccinations up to date required.
