What we’re about
Sycamore Screenwriting Study Group is intended for current and aspiring screenwriters to improve their craft. As I (Elizabeth) am the club founder and am very much at the beginning of my screenwriting journey, the group will likely be oriented more toward beginners, but more advanced screenwriters are welcome! Due to personal comfort reasons, all attendees must be 18 or older.
In-person meetings will more than likely be in one of the meeting rooms at Sycamore Public Library in Illinois, but I am open to choosing another location should the group need one.
I'm still working on plans for upcoming events, including reading relevant craft books, reading screenplays (both established and member-written), writing sprint sessions, and film nights. If you're interested in any of that, please sign up so that I can start putting together a schedule and appropriate events.
