Welcome to Tarporley Just Good Friends. We are here to get together, have fun and meet new friends.. This is not a singles or dating group.
The aim is for people to take part in various social activities in a safe and friendly atmosphere. This may include dining and drinks, theatre, cinema, afternoon tea, coffee, dancing, live music, outdoors, walking, camping, glamping, kayaking, sailing, outdoor swimming, dog walking, spa days and book club. Just about anything at all.
Suggestions are always welcome for venues and activities.
If a member has a particular interest or hobby, they are free to propose or host an event through the organiser, Sharon Cooper (sharoncooper24@hotmail.com, Tel/WhatsApp: 07887 573055).
Membership: Anyone may apply to join the group, but they must have a recognisable photo and live within a 20-mile radius of Tarporley.
When you have booked an event and then find you are unable to attend, please change your RSVP to ‘Not going’. There may be a waiting list, also the host will be looking out for you.
It may be necessary to take deposits for some events such as meals out.
If a member ‘No shows’ 3 events that they committed to attend, then their membership may be cancelled.
Annual membership is £10 and is due on the 2nd event and then annually thereafter.
