- Colorado-"Non Hiking" Networking event with Backpack SocietyBackpack Society, Highlands Ranch, CO
WHAT: A "non hiking" networking event (and a fabulous chance to allow my fractured fibula to heal a bit!)
Backpack society is a non profit that helps to provide food for kiddos in Douglas County during school breaks/summer. What a great org!
https://www.backpacksociety.org/We have coordinated with them to have our helpful team help stock their shelves/organize at their pantry location. 11 remaining spots open to volunteer! *****see below for signup link/waiver required by Backpack Society.***
WHY: Because happiness is often found by helping others...duh! And, it is a unique way to network with other good humans. For the networking, we can be intentional and "partner up and switch" while we are being useful.
WHEN: Thursday, June 12th 10:30 AM-we have a "two hour slot", but if all 12 volunteers show up we might get everything done in 45 minutes! How fast are you all at putting soup and beans on a shelf? ;)
