17.15: Welcome and introduction to teqHub and to Symbion
17.30 Talk no. 1: Bluetooth LE Audio and Auracast and the capabilities for broadcast transmitters and receivers By Lars Knudsen
We will cover how to easily create a BAP broadcast source (transmitter) that will be compatible with LE Audio broadcast receivers (e.g. some high-end earbuds available now) - using the Zephyr RTOS and a Nordic Semiconductor nRF52840 Dongle.
We will also cover how Broadcast assistants work, where they are available in the market now and how it’s possible to create your own, using modern web technologies (WebUSB and Web Components) together with the Zephyr RTOS.

“Auracast™ assistants scan for Auracast™ advertisements and provide a user interface (UI) to enable users to select an Auracast™ broadcast to join, similar to the UI commonly used to connect to Wi-Fi networks in public spaces.”
