What we’re about

Creativity is more than what we make—it’s how we live. Writing, painting, research, teaching, designing, thinking: all these forms of expression are sustained not just by talent or inspiration, but by the art of practice itself. The Art of Creative Practice is a space for writers, artists, academics, and thinkers of all kinds who want to deepen their relationship with their work, explore sustainable rhythms, and grow within a supportive community.

Here you’ll find a blend of practical structure and reflective depth. We host:

  • Weekly Creative Flow Sessions: two-hour co-working gatherings where we write, think, sketch, or plan side by side.
  • Group coaching sessions to help you clarify your goals, navigate blocks, and nurture a more resilient creative life.
  • Meditation and contemplative practices to ground your imagination and connect creativity with inner stability.
  • Special events and workshops from guest speakers to themed explorations of how creativity shows up across disciplines.

This group is for you if you’re seeking:

  • A community of fellow creatives who understand both the exhilaration and the challenges of making.
  • Support in finding a steadier, more sustainable rhythm for your practice.
  • Inspiration and encouragement to keep moving forward.
  • Space to reflect on creativity not just as output, but as an art form in itself.

Whether you’re just starting out or have been working for years, this group welcomes you. Here, we honour the process as much as the product, and believe that showing up for your creativity is itself a radical, beautiful act.

Stopping the Drama Cycle: A Workshop on Love & Our Limiting Patterns

Online

So many of us long for love that feels steady, nourishing, and real—yet find ourselves caught in cycles of intensity, conflict, or disappointment. This workshop is an opportunity to step back and gently explore the patterns that keep us looping, and to discover what it takes to move beyond drama into something more authentic.

Across our 90 minutes together, we’ll look at:
🌱 The difference between being “in love” and experiencing true love
🌱 How the “drama cycle” plays out—and why it can feel addictive
🌱 Early warning signs that you’re slipping into old dynamics
🌱 The “Crazy 8” model for interrupting the cycle
🌱 Practical ways to break patterns and create space for healthier love
🌱 Self-reflection activities to help you understand your own tendencies
🌱 Tips for sustaining love that lasts

This isn’t about judgment or blame. It’s about awareness, compassion, and choice—creating room for new ways of relating that honour both yourself and others.

Come as you are—whether you’re single, in a relationship, or simply curious about your own patterns. You’ll leave with insights and tools you can apply immediately, and a clearer sense of what it means to move from drama into depth.

***
This workshop is part of an ongoing series exploring relationship dynamics—from understanding attachment styles to cultivating deeper intimacy and trust. Each session stands alone, but together they form a journey into building healthier, more conscious connections. You’re welcome to join any or all.
