A must-read for Agatha Christie fans. When Colonel Bantry awakes to find a dead girl in his library, his wife Dolly decides there is only one possible course of action - to call for the help of her friend and neighbour, Miss Jane Marple. With the police none the wiser as to the girl's identity, Miss Marple begins her investigation into who the unfortunate victim might be and what connection, if any, she has to the residents of a nearby seaside hotel. The Body in the Library is the second novel featuring Christie's beloved sleuth, but the first in which her shrewd and resourceful character is fully realised.
