The Social Chapter is a laid-back, book-free edition of the Book & Wine/Whine Club.

Every other month, instead of discussing a book, we come together for drinks, food, and great conversation - no reading required!

For this Social Chapter, we’re switching things up with a bar crawl around Notting Hill! It’s the perfect way to explore new spots, enjoy a few drinks (or mocktails!), and have a great time-all while getting your steps in! 🙂

2. How often does The Social Chapter happen?
   We alternate between a regular book club month and a Social Chapter month, so this event happens every other month.

3. Can I come if I haven’t attended the book club before?
   Absolutely!

4. Will we still talk about books?
   Its up to you! But this is an open-ended social, so expect conversation about anything—travel, life, and whatever else comes up.

5. Where will we be meeting?
   To keep things easy and organised, the location of the first pub (our meeting spot) will be shared with those who RSVP. From there, we’ll explore a few great spots together!

6. Do I have to eat or drink alcohol?
   Not at all! You’re welcome to enjoy a mocktail, soft drink, or just soak up the atmosphere—whatever suits you best.

7. How does payment work?
   Everyone covers their own drinks, food, and anything else they order, so there’s no need to worry about splitting bills.

8. Do I need to RSVP?
   Yes, please! Even though this is a relaxed social, knowing numbers helps us plan and make sure everyone is included.

Do I have to drink wine to join?
Not at all! While wine is part of the fun, feel free to enjoy any drink you like-whether it's a mocktail, or coffee.

How often does the club meet?
We meet bi monthly at a local pub.

How are the books chosen?
A different member gets to choose the book for the next meeting. This keeps things fresh and ensures everyone has a chance to share their favorite genres or authors.

Do I have to buy my own book?
Yes, members are responsible for purchasing or borrowing the selected books.

What kind of books do you read?
We're open to all genres! From fiction to non-fiction, thrillers to romance, we let the member selecting the book decide.

Do I need to finish the book to attend the meeting?
Not at all! While it's great if you've read the book, you're welcome to join the discussion even if you haven't finished (or started) it.

What happens during the "whine" part?
This is a lighthearted, open session where members can share thoughts, vent about their day, or chat about anything on their minds. It's all in good fun and helps us connect.

Are there other meetups outside the main monthly event?
Yes! We have the “Social Chapter” which is a catchup over drinks/food which ftakes place bi monthly.

And we just introduced “The Morning Blend” which is great for coffee lovers and breakfast enthusiasts!

Do I need to RSVP?
Yes, please RSVP so we can plan accordingly and ensure there's enough space at the venue and cancel if necessary.

Is there a membership fee?
No membership fee, but everyone covers their own food, drink, and book costs.

Can I bring a friend?
Absolutely! Just make sure they RSVP on Meetup as well.

What if I'm shy or new to book clubs?
No problem! Our group is welcoming and laid-back, so there's no pressure to speak if you're not comfortable.

What if I don't drink or read often?
That's okay! The club is about connection and having fun, not strict rules. Come as you are and enjoy the vibe.
