What we’re about
The Creative House of Lancaster (CHL) - We are all creators, join us!
We believe in taking creative and innovative leaps that support the local creative community by connecting local talent, promoting collaboration, fair trade, teamwork, networking, mentoring, and communication, all while nurturing a sense of community.
From meetups and events to partnerships with local organizations that also support the creative community, the CHL will advocate for the success of individuals in creative fields. Supporting each other's personal and professional development.
Starting in 2006, The Creative House of Lancaster grew out of a need for creatives to connect. Seeing that need again in 2022, we've decided to bring it back. Join us!
The Creative House is a project of The Candy Factory, a coworking + social club located in the heart of Lancaster, PA.

Are you looking for a way to integrate creative expression into your life and connect more deeply with yourself? Join friendly folks on Friday mornings as we work through The Artist’s Way together and get our creative vibes flowing.
Julia Cameron’s book, The Artist’s Way, is a seminal book in the realm of creativity and personal growth. Structured like a 12-step program, it guides readers through a 12-week exploration. Each week focuses on a particular theme with guided exercises and builds on the last. These guided steps make the process feel manageable and give you time to process it all.#### Through The Artist’s Way, we will work out creative blocks to live life more fully.
As a group, we meet weekly to discuss what we have read, questions we have worked through, and activities we have participated in on our own. Everyone has a chance to speak, so there is time for sharing, feedback, and reflection. Curious about what this looks like? You can learn about it here.
