What we’re about
You can donate to our Ko-fi here! Ko-fi
We are a fantastic clan of makers and creatives who set aside some time each week for a creative outlet. We teach and learn from each other in a variety of art forms, all while having fun together in a welcoming, safe, respectful, and relaxing atmosphere. Each day is presented in a loose, non-instructional format where all members can work on bringing their projects to life while socializing. 's like a "Drink and Draw" night without the booze!
We are attempting to create a group that is Canada wide! As a result we move the group location every few months.
We now meet on Discord every week but are open to meeting in person
If you have any questions or suggestions, I would love to hear them. Please comment on the meetup day in question, or send a message to myself or the organizer team.
We can't wait to see you at the next meetup!
If you enjoy the group consider donating to our Ko-fi

This meetup will be held on >>>> Discord <<<< Click here for the discord/event spaceWe will be streaming 2 lessons from Marshall Vandruff's 1994 Perspective Series.
It's a great back to basics perspective lesson to help everyone hone in on their fundamentals.
We will be watching:
Intro to Perspective:
This lecture is an overview of the course. It explains what perspective is, why it's difficult, and how to simplify to make it useful. Marshall defines the terms you will need for the course and gives the five ways artists create the illusion of depth on a flat surface. (23:41 min., 49.6 MB mp4)Right Angles, Part 1
This lecture demonstrates why parallel lines seem to meet in the distance. You will understand why the horizon and your eye level are always the same thing. You will also see that if you can draw a cube, you can draw practically anything. (32:34 min., 259.5 MB mp4)
