What we’re about
My name is Kirwin and I am the owner of The Lit Bae Bookshop based in Richmond, VA. I pop-up at different markets, festivals, and small businesses. I also host occasional book swaps and other bookish experiences around the DMV.
I specialize in blind date with a book offerings, which is where I wrap the books up and give clues as to what the book is about so that you can't judge the book by the cover. I also offer new and used book selections at my pop-ups.
I host a bi-monthly bookclub at HQ, which is a co-working space in Forest Hill. The bookclub picks are usually about how we create the road to revolution and liberation, reimagining a society that can work for everyone, and it's a space to dream and then give you inspiration for direct action for change.
