What we’re about
We are a friendly walking group of mixed ages and abilities focused on walks between 6 to 8 miles covering The New Forest, Wiltshire, Hampshire & Dorset. Further afield on the odd occasion. We normally run one weekend walk and one midweek walk per month. More if other members of the group would like to lead a walk.
While the group is mainly focussed around walking we also like to do other things together, for example pub lunches, dinners out, a trip to a country fair, festival or other social event. Its really up to the members. If someone has an idea, I'm happy to post it.
There is a modest charge of £2 per person per walk to cover the subscription costs of Meetup and other expenses associated with running the group.
