The Thrive Tribe Social Squad is for WOMEN turning 45 or older in 2025. At this point in our lives, supportive female friendship is critical, and so is having fun. This social group is about forming meaningful friendships through fun activities that will occur primarily in North County. You can expect a wide range of entertaining activities such as live local music, movies, trivia, theater, wine tasting, dinner, happy hour, dancing, workshops, comedy nights, etc. We are always open to your suggestions as well.
Annual membership dues are a meager $6 for an entire year - what a deal! Meetup now charges $300 per year for an organizer to create a group 😲. Your membership dues will be applied to these fees, plus any other expenses incurred on behalf of the group. Your first event is free to see if The Thrive Tribe is a good fit for you. After your first event, please Venmo $6 to @Melanie-Zaner (preferred), or bring cash to your second event. Yearly dues will need to be renewed every 12 months.
This group is for women only; no men, non-members, or children. If you want to bring a friend to an event, that person must join The Thrive Tribe Meetup group before they can attend.
✅ RSVP with INTEGRITY, which means do not respond "yes" unless and until you are reasonably certain you can attend the event. Keep your RSVP up to date, and communicate with the event host.
❌ If you sign up but have to cancel, please edit your reply, preferably 24 hours in advance. Two no-shows total (meaning no communication about not showing up, either in RSVP, event comments, or a DM to the event host) to any type of event will be grounds for removing you from the group. Cancelling too many times close to the start time of an event is also grounds for removing you from the group. This causes problems for the event coordinator, the venue, and our relationship with the venue, which can affect our ability to hold events there in the future. A lot goes into setting up the right activity, venue, reserved space, negotiated fees, deposits, supplies and more for every event, which is all based on your RSVP. We often have a waitlist with women who will miss out unnecessarily if you no-show.

🤩🤘🌞Are you ready for an evening of music, fun, and friends? Let's kick off summer right at a FREE concert at Stagecoach Community Park on Friday, June 20th at 5pm featuring The Highwayman Show Band! There will be a large area for dancing, so get ready to get down!
🎈 Bring your blanket or low-back beach/lawn chair, and food and drinks (alcohol is permitted) so we can enjoy a picnic in the park with live music! No food vendors will be present. Look for the balloons tied to a beach chair to find us in the park. I will arrive at 4pm to secure an area based on the number of RSVPs, so keep your RSVP up to date!
🎶🤠 Step into the heart of outlaw-country and join the celebration with The Highwayman Show. Get ready to sing along, stomp your boots, dance, and relive the golden era with an electrifying tribute to legends Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings and Kris Kristofferson. • Picnic essentials: Food, utensils, and beverages (no food vendors will be on-site).
• Alcohol: Permitted; please drink responsibly.
• Seating: Low-back beach chairs or blankets to sit on.
• Sun protection: Sunscreen, hats, and sunglasses.
• Bug spray is recommended🚫 Pets are not allowed other than service animals. Do not bring any items that may obstruct views, such as sun umbrellas or high-backed chairs
🅿️ Parking Information:
• Parking is limited - consider walking or carpooling, and come early.
• On-site parking: Available at Stagecoach Community Park.
• Overflow parking: Available across the street at La Costa Canyon High School (no shuttles).
• ADA parking: Designated spaces are available on-site.
• Alternative transportation: FREE BIKE VALET!‼️RSVP WITH INTEGRITY - don't respond "yes" unless and until you are reasonably certain you will be able to attend. If plans change, update your RSVP as soon as possible. If you cancel within 24 hours, drop a comment as well so I don't hold space for a no-show.
