Directed by Reginald Hudlin, the film explores Avantās rise from humble beginnings to becoming a behind-the-scenes powerbroker in the entertainment industry.
Nicknamed "The Black Godfather," Avant played a crucial role in breaking barriers for Black talent, negotiating groundbreaking deals, and mentoring figures like Quincy Jones, Diddy, and Barack Obama.
