What we’re about
We are a book club with open-minded members who enjoy reading books on a variety of topics and sharing ideas about them. We read all genres of fiction and occasional non-fiction. Book selection is made through an informal selection process in which everyone participates.
We meet on the second Tuesday of each month. Meetup locations vary, but are usually in the Beaverton/Hillsboro area. Sometimes we meet in homes; other times we meet in public places. Many of us work or have families, and so we do not tend to stay out past 9 or 10. Start time is 6:30 or 7:00.
We are looking for new members who can commit to coming to most monthly meetings. It’s okay if you are new to reading. We also welcome you if you are a literary star. Probably our only rule is to keep conversation respectful.
