Theater Enjoyment Guide:
- Switch OFF your cell phone – Under no circumstances should you ever text, take pictures, or video during a show.
- Savor your snacks quietly (or not at all)! If you have to unwrap cough drops or treats from intermission, please enjoy them QUIETLY to avoid disturbing others. Theaters are designed to amplify sound, so even the smallest noise can be heard far and wide.
- Activate Silent or Theater Mode on your watch to prevent it from lighting up and diverting attention from the performance.
- Keep conversations for intermission or after the show to preserve the ambiance for everyone.
- Positive vibes only within the theater vicinity! It’s lovely to share constructive feedback once outside and away from the theater.
- Dress code follows the unwritten rule of "the more you pay, the fancier you may dress," with Broadway being the delightful exception. Feel free to dress comfortably for your day's plans.
- WICKED MOVIE! Theater Lovers Private Pre-ScreeningCentury 16 Salt Lake, Salt Lake City, UT$25.00
We're thrilled to announce that we've been able to secure an advanced private pre-screening of the highly anticipated movie adaptation of the beloved Broadway musical Wicked.
Set to release November 22, 2024 - we'll be holding our screening on Wednesday, November 20th at Century 16 Movies in Salt Lake on 3300 South and 125 East!
Show will start at 7:00, doors open at 6:30 (seats are not preassigned).
Early Bird Pricing is available until October 31st for $20 a ticket, then $25 a ticket after that. Spacing is limited and we will sell out so act fast!
We won't be hosting dinner prior to this event and we'll be taking payment through Meetup.
See you at the show!
We haven't figured out the check-in process as of yet but we will keep you posted. We'll likely just have your names at the door for you to check-in (and email addresses for an extra level of verification if you're concerned). We'll update the event once we figure out the details.
Note: Please be respectful - we've put a cap on how many people can buy. Consider this something we're doing for friends and family - this is not something you're entitled to ... you are being invited because we love this community. We got the largest theater they had to accommodate as many people as we could.
We're not looking to make money on this - covering fees for screening, PayPal, Meetup, etc. All our events, time, coordination, websites, hosting, etc. - are all done out of love - and cost us money!
We've done this before and people have gotten a little out of control and entitled - we are not Eccles doing this as a business, we are hosting an event for friends. So be friendly.
Tickets are non-refundable unless there seems to be high demand and we release the tickets and we're able to resell them. If we resell them, we'll refund the cost of the tickets (less the fees Meetup/Paypal takes off the top) - if we are unable to resell the tickets, you are more than welcome to try to do so yourself and give the person your name/email address to check in at the door.
