Join us for the Annual Nerd Herd Christmas Party, featuring our world famous Grab-bag Gift Exchange. Here’s how it’ll work:

1. Bring a wrapped gift valued at around $20 (I know when it comes to games that's hard to do, but use your own judgement)
2. We'll put our names in a hat and draw them for picking order
3. Everyone will pick a gift from the pile and enjoy the holiday spirit.

Since we are the Nerd Herd, I would suggest keeping the gifts thematically appropriate. Games are always a good gift, but you do you. If you get a game you already have you can always trade after. I wanted to avoid doing a white-elephant style "stealing" system because it's kind of mean.

IMPORTANT NOTE!

This is a new venue, it is NOT at our regular Monday meetup location. It is at a Mexican restaurant with half-price margaritas on Monday nights, so I'm sure it'll be a good time. I will call ahead and let them know how many people will be coming, so please RSVP so I can get a rough head-count.

This restaurant is not really conducive to gaming, this is really just a holiday dinner party. It's a good time to hang out and to get to know everyone over some margaritas. I suspect there will be plenty of new games to be played at our next Monday meetup.

If you've ever wanted to get into board games and weren't quite sure which games you'd like, this is your chance to come and give find out. Come hang out with the other nerd herd members and learn a new game or maybe even teach us one of yours. In typical Nerd Herd fashion there will be plenty of games to play, but feel free to bring your own games. There's no fee for the meetup, we just ask that you buy some food and/or drink to support the venue.

While it would be nice if everyone RSVPed, we’re at the point that people just know to show up. Don’t let a low RSVP count dissuade you from coming out and meeting new people and playing some games.
