Welcome to The Walking Social Club!
A walking group with occasional events and activities, for adventure lovers who want to explore parts of Cardiff and its surrounding areas on foot.
For nature, city, and park walks, shorter routes are generally on weekday evenings and longer on Sunday afternoons. Social events & activities are varied and sporadic!
✌️ We welcome new, friendly faces. We've all been newbies - I was nervous at my first event, too.
⚠️ Be prepared! Please check the weather forecast and wear sensible and appropriate walking gear. Routes and paths are often uneven, steep, wet, and muddy!
🐕 Dogs are very welcome on our walks (the more the merrier!) but must be kept on a lead in areas that require it. You must be fine walking with dogs, as I'll have my friendly pups with me at every walk.
🥪 Bring some water if you want and some snacks if you get hangry.
🕒 Please update your RSVP if you can no longer attend. It saves us from hanging around. We will set off 10 minutes after the event start time. End times are always estimated.
📷 Not everyone wants their photo taken; politely ask before taking pictures of other members at any point during a walk. Please message me if you want a photo of yourself removed.
🗺️ Please try to remain with the walking group during the walk. Spreading out will naturally occur, but if you are ahead and have separated from the group, please wait at the next plateau or fork in the path.
⭐ Consider leaving us a review, currently only viewable by the group, they will soon be public and help the group grow.
🌎 Feel free to suggest a walk you'd like to take; we love exploring new areas.

💎 MeetUp Membership is $8 (approx £6) per year and includes a 30-day free trial before they are due. You are most welcome to attend any event during this time for free, save for any specific event requiring activity fees.
