WE CREATE GREAT MEMORIES to last a lifetime! Life is too short not to meet some great people, do something DIFFERENT and have FUN . We are ALL about HAPPINESS, POSITIVITY & FUN. This group will expose you to so many things you may never even knew existed. The best part is that this group holds interesting things for everyone 40 and above! We are always in a happy place - We are grounded, soulful and ethical.
Don't worry about coming out alone, that's what most people do... We'll make sure you have an opportunity to socialize and meet terrific people. We're having the time of our lives! We really do some cool stuff with like-minded fun & happy people, you should join us and bring other happy people to join also!
Our goal is to expand your experiences in life & have lots of fun along the way! We should all enjoy the journey and find our groove with a group filled with positive energy - that is THRIVE! But to have the journey -- you have to go make it happen.

WE ARE NOT A DATING GROUP. WE HAVE COUPLES, SINGLES, MARRIED PEOPLE, ALL SORTS IN OUR GROUP. WE KINDLY REQUEST THAT YOU NOT JOIN WITH A PURPOSE TO FIND ROMANCE AS MANY MEMBERS FIND OUR GROUP A SANCTUARY AWAY FROM THE MEAT MARKET, PER SE, LOL!! THERE ARE PLENTY OF OTHER GROUPS FOR THIS.
We like to do interesting and enriching events and "bucket list" life experiences. We are always open to suggestions, anything to share laughs and good times. We try to have a good mix of "moderately vs. low" expense activities as well, so we're not always breaking the bank.
While we tend to concentrate on events near the Nassau-Suffolk corridor, we have been known to partake in events from Montauk to NYC and have even travelled outside of our fabulous country as well! ***Please note we take RSVPs for dining events/reservations very seriously, so please take that into consideration when rsvping for an event that includes making reservations***
We are an eclectic group of women and men over 40 and welcome people from all walks of life. If you're looking for some cool things to do with fun people, we are what you're looking for! We're a fun group just wanting to enjoy the best of life, so why not try us on for size!
We do ask for a small 6 month membership fee of $2 per month, per member, depending on when you joined in our 6 month cycle which is June 1st to November 30th and then December 1st to May 31st. We appreciate your understanding in this, but with Meetup organizer fees and all the work to plan lots of fun things, we feel this is a fair request.
