Please Note: We ask that your name in Meetup is either your first and last name, first name and last initial, or last name and first initial so fellow members can recognize you. Please DO NOT USE just your first name as your meetup id.
Membership is open to all women ages 18 or older.
TOWN is an offshoot of the Texas Parks & Wildlife's Becoming an Outdoors Woman (BOW) program. The Austin TOWN group was founded in 1997.
Our mission is to provide all women the opportunity to learn and experience outdoor activities in natural surroundings through a safe and supportive environment.
We encourage you to visit and bookmark our webpage TOWN-Austin. The website contains important policies, guidelines, and monthly meeting information.
Each member will be required to sign a liability waiver/emergency information at every event.
Our annual membership fee of $20 covers operating costs. The events are either free or you pay the provider of the activities directly.
