Dougie has agreed to lead us on a hike at Deer Lakes Park. This will be an approximately 3 to 4 mile loop. This is an all-terrain hike on various blazed trails in the park and there most likely will be some wet areas along the route with short inclines.

We will be meeting at the lot by the Pike Pavillion, off of Crayfish Drive. The hike will be on various trail loops. He is suggesting that we wear hiking boots or shoes and bring hiking poles if you have them.

The hike should take us about 1 1/2 hours.

Let's go to Harmony Inn to celebrate Halloween!!!! I have the start time at 5:00PM, however, the entertainment does not begin until 6:00PM. My plan is to arrive early to try to get seating. This will be an open house type of event, so come as your schedule allows - any time after 5:00PM.

Music: The Boom Rockets from 6:00 - 10:00PM.
Fire Dancing: Sirkus Dayz from 7:30 - 8:15PM
Tarot Card Reading: Dana McCall from 5:00 to 8:30PM

I am planning to dress up in costume, as I'm sure many will be, however, it is not mandatory. It is always fun to see those who are dressed up, whether you choose to be in costume or not.

Cindy has offered to lead us on a hike through the Tom's Run Nature Reserve. This hike will be an approximately 4 mile loop. We will begin the hike with an uphill climb and then we will be on various types of dirt trails.

It is highly suggested that you were proper fitting hiking boots and bring hiking poles.

Leashed dogs are permitted.

Note: Parking is going to be tight.

Our luncheon will be in the midst of our walk. I have allocated 3 hours (may be a bit shorter), which includes the walk, luncheon, walk back to our vehicles.

Weather permitting, let's explore the walking trails located around the old Westinghouse Headquarters in Seven Fields. There is one trail, the outer loop, that I'm familiar with. We can start with that, then we will find our way to the Red Robin. I'm guessing this will equate to under 2 miles.

Once there, we will sit down and visit over a beverage, burger or meal of your choice. After, we will walk a little over a half a mile to return to our vehicles. This walk will be on pavement, however, there are a few little hills along the way. In total, I'm guessing it will be under 3 miles.

We will meet at the parking lot behind the Cracker Barrell at 10:30AM.
