What we’re about
Our Ethos:
At Utah Outdoors, we passionately believe that the great outdoors is for everyone. Hiking isn't just about conquering summits; it's about forging connections, building community, and rejuvenating the spirit. Our mission is to offer a welcoming environment where individuals of all backgrounds and skill levels can come together, share experiences, and collectively enrich their lives through the beauty of Utah's outdoors.
We believe that through our shared experiences, we can inspire one another to venture beyond our comfort zones, build resilience, and create lasting memories. Our goal is not just to hike, but to elevate lives, promote well-being, and build a community bound by respect, enthusiasm, and the shared thrill of discovery.

See all- Red Butte Gardens + Skyline WestNatural History Museum of Utah, Salt Lake City, UT
Since everyone is going to be shocked and horrified by being awoken an hour earlier than we have been feeling, I picked a easy hike with some decent views. Lets meet on the SE side of the Natural Museum Parking Lot, close to the Bonneville shoreline crosswalk on Wakara Way. Spikes may be useful. The event pin is the proposed meeting spot, not necessarily the parking spaces.
Length: 3 mi max
Elevation gain: 700ish ft
Route type: LoopParking available on on Colorow Rd (Museum opens at 10)
This is a partial version of the route, I don't want to take the fire road back, but walk the Skyline trail - a rolling but more scenic view of the way back.
