What we’re about
We are a non-profit organization with a mission to promote the sport of mountain biking by building and preserving trails, and organizing events and group rides to build a community. Trails in the Lehigh Valley that VMB builds and maintain include Salsbury / Walking Purchase Park, Trexler Preserve, Jacobsburg State Park, South Mountain Emmaus, Nockamixon, and Jordan Creek.
If you want to become a member and support trail building, join here:

The Noxturnal Ride is a one-night-only chance to ride Nox past sundown, while raising money for the Tower Rd. trailhead pavilion
This is a special event. Registration is limited to 150 riders. Online Registration closes October 31st at midnight, or as soon as all available spaces fill up. There will be no day-of registration.
Dreading Daylight savings? The thought of less time to ride your bike got you down? Love riding Nox? Wish you could ride there at night? Now you can! Calling all spirits of the forest! Join the Valley Mountain Bikers in lighting up the night at Lake Nockamixon on Saturday, November 2nd from 6 to 9 pm for what we hope will become the annual “Noxturnal” night ride.
VMB has obtained special permission from Lake Nockamixon State Park to host the unique one-night-only “Fun”draising event. In addition to rolling through one of our most beautifully maintained trail systems at night, your paid registration gets you: ability-based group rides led by our knowledgeable and friendly trail ambassadors; one free “Ride the Valley” VMB bumper sticker; complimentary hot chocolate, coffee, and s'mores on course; participation in a poker card game-style raffle (each card obtained at different point on the course), and some glowy bits to make your bike look extra special. What you Need: a properly functioning mountain bike, helmet, and at least one bike light—preferably one rated for trail riding (1000 lumen, 2 hour burn time recommended). Ebikes are welcome as long as they meet PADCNR e-bike policy ands standards.
Ride Routes: We’ve set up one 7-ish mile loop that participants can ride once, twice (for 14 miles), or three times (20-ish miles). This year, we are adding a 20 mile route to celebrate the club's 20th year anniversary! The loop is available to view on RideWithGPS here: short We’ll send the riders in each category out in groups of 10 to 15 riders so we don’t overcrowd the trails and will have course marshals on the trails to direct the riders. Be sure to stop by the trail-side bonfire for coffee, hot chocolate, and s'mores!
Parking: All parking and event check-in will be at the Haycock Boat Launch off Rt 563 in Haycock Township. There will be no event parking at the Tower Rd Lot.
