What we’re about
Welcome to Valley Explorers!
We're a community of outdoor hikers who enjoy exploring and seeing the valley from the mountain tops.
Come out for hikes, volunteering, group outings, and other fun activities, and meet like-minded people who share the same interests and hobbies.
This group was formerly known as Phoenix Valley Explorers, this will be the new main group, we will be moving over all the events from the old group to this one. We are moving to this one due to the old one being stuck in private, which made it harder for new members to view the group.
The Join Questions are now optional to allow returning members to rejoin the group easily. If you're a returning member, simply enter “rejoining” for the first question, and you'll be added back to the group. For new members, it's preferred that you complete the questionnaire, as we use the answers to plan for future events. Thank you!
List of Group Rules:
1. Treat all members with respect.
2. Maintain appropriate language and behavior toward others.
3. Respect the trailheads-follow all park and trail rules, and don’t leave any mess, litter, or pet waste behind.
4.Please be mindful of everyone’s time—do your best to arrive on time or let us know if you’re running late.
5. Try to keep your RSVP and guest count as accurate as possible.
6. Please be mindful of any trail’s difficulty and know your limits. You are ultimately responsible for your own safety and belongings.
