Hi, I am Candy, a Non-Profit Founder, and a Marketing & Sales professional in Canada. I have extensive business experience spanning about 10 years, working for several large businesses in a variety of management positions. I graduated from the Business Management program at Douglas College in Canada, and I transferred to the University of British Columbia in 2020. I like to meet great professionals and help others achieve more.
Inspired by my mentor, Jennifer Nelson, I founded VCDC to help people achieve their professional dreams. We aim to build a supportive network of business leaders, professionals, and dream makers who strive to create more connections, opportunities, and growth.
We provide services to help with Career Development, Networking, Cross-Cultural Training, and Tech Upskilling. We also assist entrepreneurs in growing their businesses, help companies diversify their workforce, and facilitate Cross-Cultural Training.
The services at VCDC are in-kind/free! It's not the practice of making a living by engaging in this club. It's an act of kindness, "the quality of being friendly, generous, and considerate" to help others achieve more (Oxford).
We meet once a quarter, either virtually or in person.
