Sorry for the second book that is changing again. The last one was not available in paperback. We will get the books figured out for the next few months so people have time to find them.

Nonfiction this month so next will be fiction. 2 books to keep it interesting, and somewhat related to add to the discussion. Looking forward to reading!

“The Golden Spruce: A true Story of Myth, Madness and Greed” by John Vaillant

And, struggling to find a related book that is somewhat available in paperback, this one looks fun. It’s a travel story, an adventure story, and it has great reviews. Order now to get it in time. See many used available and there Is the library of course.

Both under 300 pages so doable over the holidays. 😀

“The Book Lovers Library” by Madelin Martin
And…a bit darker, and also set in WW2
“The Book Thief” by Marcus Zusak

We are working with Russel books to determine what books are readily available in paperback. We know the Book Lovers Library is available on order in 2-3 days. Russel’s carry’s a lot of used books too. A couple we chose in December are not very available and one is still just in hard cover. Best to stick with known and popular books.
