- Meditation & Discussion: Freedom through Embracing the MysteryCarlson Park, Culver City , CA
This is a special meditation session in Culver City that will be followed by a celebration for Tristan's 40th birthday! For more info and to RSVP for the birthday celebration: https://www.paperlesspost.com/go/bkGv4yPsxjBxgmCLgymbd
For the meditation session, we will discuss what it means to embrace the mystery that is life, and how this can help us to let go and be more free.
This event is based on Tristan's personal mastery approach, where we learn to make friends with our mind to cultivate personal growth and inner peace. We explore the intersections of Buddhism, Stoicism, modern Psychology, and other approaches towards this goal.
Our practices generally include some of the following:
- Meditation
- Mindfulness
- Metta (Loving-kindness)
- Breathwork
- Sound bath
- Journaling
No experience with these practices is necessary. Beginners are welcome! Even those of us who have been practicing for years are still learning, and we have so much to learn from each other. As they say in Zen, we must maintain a "beginners mind."
Our discussions are open to a variety of spiritual and scientific approaches to wellbeing, contentment, and enlightenment. We want to hear your ideas, but there's no pressure to speak in the group. If you prefer to just sit and listen, that's great!
Whether you are seeking to find inner peace, or simply a space to connect with like-minded individuals, we invite you to join us on this journey.
Cost: There is no cost to attend, but donations are appreciated through Venmo @Tristan-Blaine. Please do not feel any pressure to donate if you are unable. Your presence is enough!
