Walk for Fun, Fitness and Friendship

Chatham is a small town in Columbia County that blends history, country roads, and scenic vistas, with a charming downtown. Consider attending Mac Haydn Theater's production following the walk.
All walkers must sign in and pay the $4 walk fee between 9-11 am and finish by 2. Choose either a 5k or 10k route. Come explore with us!

Come ride your bike with America's Walking Club, walkescv.org along the Albany Helderberg bike trail from Albany to Voorheesville. The ride originates from the parking lot of the Corning Preserve playground, heads South along the Mohawk Hudson bike trail which turns into the Albany South End multi use bike trail at the USS Slater and then becomes the Albany Helderburg bike trail at mile 2 for a 23.2 mile round trip ride. The ride is flat for the 1st 2 miles and then takes on a steady grade climb for a mile or so and then assumes a more gentle climb to the end. It is all downhill on the way back. Helmets are required.
