Do you like to WALK? Want to spice up your routes? Extend your distance? Meet other local people who are interested in WALKING for fitness, fun and exploration. EXPERIENCE VOLKSSPORT with us!

There are a number of ways to VOLKSSPORT and distances vary. Most walks are 10k (6.2 miles) but there are many 5k routes, some 20k and also 32k and 42k routes at the walking festivals.
You can participate in year round walks, group walks, club walks, event walks and walking festivals!

See all- Shoreline Parks - 6K (3 miles) or 10K (6 miles) distanceHamlin Park, Shoreline, WA
Come join us for a walk thru areas of beautiful Shoreline WA. The neighborhoods of southeastern Shoreline enclose 5 parks, newly rebuilt middle and high schools and a new light rail station. We'll use quiet residential streets and trails to explore them all, starting with the flagship Hamlin Park. Hamlin has picnic areas, wooded trails, and a memorial to the first battle of the Spanish-American war. Paramount School Park includes a skate park, baseball fields, a walking path, and picnic areas. Paramount Open Space, South Woods Park, and Northcrest Park are wooded oases that invite further exploration.
Sign in required between 9:00-9:30am, Maps and directions for routes are available so you can so you may start when you are ready and walk at your own pace, or there will be group walks, starting at approximately 9:30am.
The club has costs to put on these walks, so we ask for a donation of $4.

Interlaken Trailblazers welcomes you to the Downtown Bellevue Link Rail Station!
Please arrive between 9:10-9:30 to register and prepare to walk.
Restrooms along route.Misc: All walkers must register; IVV Credit $3. All walkers are welcome. Our club pays AVA $2 for all walkers. Donations are appreciated to offset our costs to provide this fun walk.
Trail: This walk starts at the Bellevue Downtown Light Rail Station, in the heart of Bellevue’s bustling downtown core, then quickly transitions to a lovely suburban experience, walking past the Bellevue Library (10K), through several residential neighborhoods and parks, as well as a lovely stroll through the Bellevue Botanical Garden (6K and 10K, both rated 2B).
At the end of your walk, consider lounging in the courtyard outside Bellevue City Hall or go inside during open hours to enjoy some interesting public art and historical displays.
For qualifiers on the Light Rail Challenge II, you can choose among three stations along the route! Bellevue Downtown, Wilburton (10K only), and East Main.
