Welcome to the Warren County Tennis Meetup Group!
I've been looking for people to play tennis with and didn't see a group page on here, so I decided I'd make one. Meetup said there are 150+ people in the area interested in tennis, so hopefully they see this.
There are public tennis courts at McMinnville Civic Center, Rock Island State Park, Viola, and even Fall Creek Falls State Park.
All ages and skill levels are encouraged to join. If we get enough players we'll try to partner up with others of similar skill level and take turns.
All you would need to bring is food, water, comfortable clothes and shoes, and maybe a hat and sunglasses. Bring rackets and tennis balls if you have them, but I have a few rackets people could use if they're careful with them.
Beginners: At first the focus would be just hitting the ball to each other and getting used to the motions. Don't be too worried about rules and competition, just have fun. If you like it, then we can be more competitive and play by the rules (they're simple).
