20s/30s Literature Group | Warrington

Bring a poem that you have enjoyed to share with the group. Listen to the poems that others have enjoyed. We read ancient and modern poems - poems written in English or translated into English. Rhyming poems, free verse, sonnets, villanelles - all are welcomed.

We will start with a short icebreaker to get to know each other. Then take turns reading out our chosen poems and discussing each one informally. No pressure to read out if you don't feel like it. Since this will be in a wine bar, you can of course enjoy a drink too!

Note: This event takes place at Corks Out in Stockton Heath. It is aimed at those in their 20s and 30s to encourage people of this age group to meet up and share poetry.
