Improv can be an invaluable tool for not only improving an actor's ability but also improving interpersonal skills, communication in personal and professional life, making a person more open, more in touch with their emotions, understanding others and building empathy and compassion, and also as a psychological tool to discover ourselves, a key to self-discovery and the fundamentals of our behavior and what makes us tick. \

Join us for improv games, scenes, acting exercise, work on your craft or just come out and have fun. Whether you are a working pro, a first timer, someone who just wants to improve their public speaking or get off the sofa and get out of your comfort zone, come out to our free improv jam session. We use a stage at an acting studio at John Casablancas, 2662 North Josey Lane, Carrollton. \
We meet every other Monday, you don't have to participate but cell phones off out of respect for each other's performances. We are a group of about 10 regulars but always open to newcomers. And yes this group does lead to many castings in local shows and commercials. \
