What we’re about
Do you like to read books about witches AND hangout at breweries AND play with tarot cards? You've found the right place!
Here's what we'll do:
- Read some books featuring witches! Then, we'll gather at local breweries and have fun cackling about the book and enjoying our beverages.
- We'll also play with tarot and oracle cards - we do readings for the characters in the books and share readings with each other.
But wait, there's more!
We're more than just a bookclub. Our goal is to create a supportive community of like-minded folks who want to learn and share. We have an active discord server so we can stay in touch between meetings. We also have a few focused subgroups called "conclaves" that specialize in specific interests such as tarot study, kitchen witchery, crafting, and more.
This is a group for anyone who identifies as a woman and nonbinary individuals (folks who use she/her and they/them pronouns, and please note we are a more femme space).
Please join the waitlist if a meetup event is full - and reach out to the organizer to check and see if you can attend!
RSVP Policy:
People who have previously been a no-show/no-contact for an event may be moved to the waitlist for future events. Members may be removed from the group after repeated no-show and no-followup events. Make sure that you are able to receive emails from Meetup or be sure to check your messages if you have RSVP'd to an event.
New Member Note:
You must have a profile picture of yourself, a first name, share your pronouns, and have minimum information on your Meet Up profile so we can confirm that you are a real person living in the Seattle area. We would like to make sure this group is a safe space of like-minded folks!
*We will decline your request to join if you fail to completely answer the new member questions and/or if we cannot confirm that you are living in the Seattle/Tacoma area.
