What we’re about
Originally formed by a couple of fun lesbians new to the area, this Meetup group is focused on connecting women with similar and diverse attitudes.
We have events with and without alcohol consumption. Enjoying ourselves, creating community and being social is our main goal and we welcome you to join us in this journey!
Group Rules
- FUN - This is our #1 priority. Attracting women from different backgrounds, cultures, and experiences, our events include a rainbow of outlooks on life and the sharing of laughter!
- RESPECT - Please treat everyone with respect and kindness.
- RSVP's - If you sign up for an event and are unable to attend, please change your RSVP to "Not Going." This enables others to have the opportunity to attend. We understand life happens. Be courteous of our time and efforts by updating your RSVP, so we can plan accordingly for each event. (Yes, we know sometimes other people show up that didn't RSVP, and people don't show up that did RSVP. We are trying to prevent that. Don't let it be you. AFTER 3 NO SHOWS, YOU WILL BE REMOVED FROM THE GROUP. )
- NO BULLYING/STALKING/VOYEURS - We are including this rule as a preventative measure not a fix. Those with restraining orders/orders of protection of any type are required to be cognizant of who is attending the events prior to signing up. If you find a current attendee scheduled to attend an event has an order against you, do not sign up. We also advise you do not, in any manner or form, contact the person you are mandated to stay away from through this group. This includes private or group messaging. Violations of court orders will not be tolerated and will lead to immediate termination from the group and you will be reported to the proper authorities.
- REMOVAL FROM GROUP - If any disrespectful behaviors or behaviors mentioned in #4 are witnessed at an event or on the Meetup platform for this group, one may be removed from the group. The decision will be based after review with the organizer and co-organizers.
Adhering to Rules 2 through 4 ensures RULE #1, having fun, is a memorable success.
