Happy New Year ladies! Let's gather for an in-town hike at Whatcom Falls. This is generally an easy hike but does have a few small hills and staircases to navigate. I will keep the time close to 2 hours, we will simply turn around after an hour.
During this hike we will get to know each other, or we can walk with just our thoughts. I will also stop to share interesting things along the way, a mushroom, a bird, or a cool plant. I like learning about the things around me, it brings a sense of connection to the moment and the area, and I want to share that with you all.
Please dress appropriately for the temperature, no fancy gear is needed besides a good pair of shoes, and a re-usable water bottle if you want.
I will keep a close eye on the weather and make changes if needed, the day before by 5:00.
Parking here is tricky only because there are so many places to do so! Please use Silver Beach road to access the lot where we will meet. As another point of reference this road ends at a fish hatchery.
