There are no guarantees of an even mix of male or females as these events are to socialise, create new friendships and may be even find love if that's what you are looking for. - Get involved - you will get out what you put in
- Talk to as many people as you can
- If you're coming with friends, try to split off from one another, otherwise, you risk not mingling with new people
- Try not to sit or stand with your back to the room
- If you're struggling to mingle, come and find your host, who will introduce you to some people
- Keep your eye on your drink - remember you're out with people you don't know!
### Things you should know:
- To attend this event you must book online.
- The event is on the first floor with stairs
- This is not a speed dating event
- An even mix of ladies and gents is NOT guaranteed and is open to singles over 35s upwards. It is well known in the dating industry that more women than men attend these events.
- If there are fewer than 20 people booked on within 24 hours of the event it may be cancelled. Where this is the case, you'll have the option to transfer your ticket to another event of the same value, or be refunded
