Who we are and what we do:
Adults (mostly over 45 yrs old) enjoying life, Hiking, Biking, Kayaking, Traveling, Snowshoeing and exploring our little Blue planet. We welcome others who want join us on some of our adventures. We are a Private Group - we want to keep our group relatively small. Each new member will need to be endorsed by an existing member.
Please make sure your profile photo has a recent photo, so we can recognize you.
This is a Private Group. We charge a membership fee of $10 per year. Once accepted into the group, you can attend events for 30 days, after 30 days you will billed, you will have to pay via the Meetup Payment site.
If you are not recommended by a current member, please join our public group "Over 40 Single Hikers". Many of us are members of both groups.

Since vaccines are available to all ages in WA, we hope you are vaccinated, for the safety of each other. Each Event Organizer/Host may specify vaccine guidelines for their respective event. Please honor that!!!
If you don't feel well, please don't attend an event.
RSVP Commitments:
* Please only sign up for events you can do, and are committed to attending. Keep in mind that you are taking up a slot from someone who may be more committed. Late drop offs means others can't plan.
* If you frequently drop off an event within 24 hrs of start time, you may be moved to "not going" by an organizer.
* If you drop off from events often (6 times) in the last few days prior to the events, you may be moved to "not going" by an organizer. OR dropped from the group.
The Organizer is in charge of the event, and their decision to drop possible attendees is final. So be nice to your Organizers!
Friendship and Kindness. Vague concept, but hugely important to us. Be kind to each other.
