Zurich's Arab Circle

This acts as an announcement to the public event in Zurich hosted by 'Swiss Action for Human Rights' to join them at Zentralwäscherei on Saturday, 5th, April, for an important event where *Love and Loss - Tales from Palestine are told in a space of collective healing* offering a space for grief, compassion and healing. 🌸

Doors open at 3 PM with an exhibition of photography, film and installations by Palestinian artists Nisreen Tahhan, Hiba Tahhan, Sari Tarazi, Ibrahim Yaghi and Adan Abu Dalu.
Enjoy beautiful Palestinian goods, including olive oil, dates, and honey, from Ard Al Khair and other producers and drink a cup of traditional coffee or tea as we enjoy Palestinian hospitality and culture.

From 5 PM you can join one of our dedicated workshops on processing emotions and grief: Grieving in Silence, the Gaza Monologues, and Somatic Drum Circle.

The main event starts at 7:30 PM. After a grounding soundbath, we will open our hearts to our Palestinian friends’ stories of love and loss, accompanied by live music.

The night will conclude with movement and dance to with the rythms of DJanes Madônia and Tina Marie from 10 PM.

You will also be able to taste delicious Palestinian food cooked by our friends from Rumman kitchen at the Kleinwäscherei restaurant from 6:30-8:30 PM.

This acts as an announcement to the public event in Zurich hosted by 'Student for Palestine' and 'Palestine committee Zurich' which is a Film Screening: 'Return to Haifa' For Ghassan Kanafani's Anniversary.

This Film screening is an adaptation of one Kanafani's most renowned books under the same title.

Ghassan Kanafani was a politician with a profound commitment to the Palestinian cause. He's considered to be one of the most prominent novelists, playwrights, and painters of the Arab World.
